Firefly Announces 2017 Lineup

Firefly Festival made waves late last year when they decided on creating a “fan-curated festival”. This meant that fans would have input in not only the lineup for the festival, but also in changes to campsite activity, merchandise, food vendors, and the festival’s look. And it worked in Firefly’s favor; they booked some great acts and are bound to have more satisfaction in the other experiences that the festival offers. The festival is also different from some of its competitors, as it has performances on Thursday in addition to the usual weekend dates.

Courtesy of their fans, the festival is bringing some big names to the Woodlands of Dover, Delaware. Chance the Rapper, who is a common thread in all of these large festivals, will be headlining Saturday. The festival also booked Glass Animals, Twenty One Pilots, The Weeknd, and Muse for the weekend.

Firefly takes place on the weekend of June 15th to the 18th. Thursday, June 15th, will see Glass Animals and Gryffin. Friday the 16th will have performances from Grammy-winners Twenty One Pilots, Flume, and Weezer. The Weeknd and Bob Dylan will grace the stage on Saturday, and the festival closes it out with sets from Muse and Dillon Francis.
